Olivia Energy Group successfully completed the start up of the Phase 2 expansion in Puerto Real Terminal last August 2022.
This expansion adds 6 new tanks for fuels and chemicals and provides enhanced jetty possibilities with two new berthing points, avoiding port congestion scenarios.
Once expanded, the total capacity reached 80,000 CBM and it is expected to hold a throughput around 600,000 TPY for vessels within a size from Coastal to Medium Range (MR) or Panamax.
The terminal, which is located in one of the five main global shipping lanes, will have increased its abilty to serve as a bulk-liquids handling facility for multimodal logistics, including a railway that is currently under construction.
This project is part of consolidation strategy for the Group core business, focused on bulk-liquids port logistics.
